Over Thanksgiving break, I got a lovely opportunity to DJ at Peace Pipes in Boulder. I DJed two nights on different days and I was featured in their promotion poster. During the nights that I Djed, the place was packed with people, and I got to play for an hour, and then rest a bit, than play for another 30 min. I played from 11 pm to 1 am. I brought my own equipment into the place in Boulder, and I had a great experience playing. It is a completely different setting than DJing at a club, and the music that is played is also different. In clubs, the music I would play is like house, progressive, future bass, and in the hookah lounge, it was mostly trance, bass and drums, and some melodic dubstep. When I was Djing, there were many different vibes because of the environment, and I got to be able to control the audience with different sounding music. I Djed here before once, but it was a blissful and honoring opportunity for me to get invited back. This place in Boulder is very popular and many people came and bought tickets to watch my perform.
